Class Information

Days and Hours
The arrival time for students is between 8:55 and 9:05am, and class ends at 11:30am.  We currently offer two classes; both follow a daily schedule with pre-planned lessons.  We offer a Kindergarten readiness class on Monday/Wednesday/Friday for children who will be entering Kindergarten the following year.  Our Tuesday/Thursday preschool class focuses on academic and social experiences for 3-4 year old children who will not be entering Kindergarten the following fall.
 
Extended Class Experiences
We believe that by offering children a variety of learning opportunites and methods, children will grow and develop into confident, prepared individuals ready to experience life beyond preschool.  Therefore, we incorporate a variety of activites that extend our class experiences.
Field Trips
Kinder Village schedules frequent field trips.  These field trips are typically based on the unit we are working on. We welcome parents or extended family members to chaperone on these special days.  Siblings are also welcome to join us with a parent/adult family member.
 
Special Visitors
Throughout the year, we occasionally bring in special guests to enrich our curriculum.
 
Chapel/Faith
Our program incorporates Christian values and beliefs into an educational curriculum. In addition, the children attend a brief, weekly "Chapel Time", where the children will learn about God and Jesus through activities, songs, stories, and prayer.  Our staff strives to model Christian values in our work at Kinder Village while creating a warm and nurturing environment.
